Albert is a Vape, one of the smoke-breathing raiders the fleet has been fighting for years. He is also a defector, which makes him a traitor to his own people and a punchline to the ones he defected to.
None of that dampens him. Albert flies a wheezing, smoking jalopy that radar can’t see, and he would very much like Alpine Stretch to be his friend. Alpine calls him Ashtray. Albert takes it as a term of endearment.
His single, bent smoke vent marks him as low-ranking among the Vapes. He wears it proudly anyway.
